William Decker: work records, 1882-1916.

The William Decker Work Records document his work as an administrator of estates including the administration of two clients' estates, Franklin Coles and Charles Conselyea, and are in the form of financial records and correspondence. The majority of the records pertain to the property owned by the two clients in Jersey City, New Jersey and Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Franklin Coles Estate Papers document the administration of four of his properties in Jersey City, New Jersey. The series includes documentation of: 735 New Jersey Ave. (1882-1885, 2 folders), 533 Monmouth St. (1884-1885, 2 folders), Lots 21 to 24 Bushwick St. (188-1887, 1 folder). The majority of the records are property tax bills and receipts. The Unidentified Accounts Records series contains correspondence and financial records from different accounts. The largest series, the Charles Conselyea Estate Records, is divided into two sub-series: Financial Records (1912-1916, 1 folder) and Charles Conselyea Estate Papers (1911-1924, 18 folders). The Financial Records sub-series contains receipts from financial transactions including a receipt for room and board for Charles Conselyea. The Property Administration sub-series is divided into sub-sub-series by financial transaction (1911-1917, 4 folders) and by street address (1911-1915, 14 folders), which contains receipts from taxes, repairs, maintenance, and rent collection.
